The Barbie blew up the balloons that came with the doll and could blow down the candle on the cake. It was kind of neat.
This is one of my all-time, top favorite Barbies by Mattel. I have an extensive collection, and this one rates in the category, "What was Mattel thinking?" First and foremost, this is not a good toy for kids. Look at the doll's photos carefully. Yes, she can actually put a balloon in her mouth and "blow" it up. She can blow out a pretend candle on a birthday cake. She can blow a party favor. And she is really cute and has a pretty face and a lovely dress. But seriously. What was Mattel thinking? Barbie, the "blow out" doll? Don't buy this for your kids. Buy this doll for a bachelorette party. She's great! She's available in blonde and brunette, and in an African American skin tone, also. She uses a modified Steffie sculpt, who already has puckered lips. She includes a bunch of accessories as well. And you can find her easily for not too much money, either. She's really a cute doll. Item received looks used, edges of original packaging is torn or smashed. Too late to replace and hopefully person getting gift will not be disappointed.
The box was opened, a mess. Even has names written, apparently it was a gift from Sissy to Katie. But the doll inside was perfect, brand new, and I loved it. Fast shipping.
