I love that we are seeing more variety in the Chelsea dolls. So many different beautiful dolls to choose from! More boys as well, which is great. Now if we could just get them articulated... ;)
My toddler is in love with this doll. She already have a similar made to move Barbie doll, so this Chelsea is now her child. Great purchase !
This is the cutest little Chelsea sized barbie doll. I bought it for my niece for Christmas who is just now starting to get into Barbies, and I wanted to get her one that looked as much like her as possible, and I was so excited to find this one. It's just perfect! The Barbie's hair is done exactly the same way as hers, and she has the same beautiful skin color. As soon as she opened it, she grinned and would not sit her down for the entire night. I was so thankful to find a Chelsea doll that was a mini me for my niece. As you can see in these pictures, she rarely leaves her hands. I think it's important to be able to find these dolls of color, so that every little girl can experience having a Barbie that looks just like them. This Chelsea doll would be a great addition to any Barbie collection though, and could be a great way to introduce or talk about the diverse world we all live in. Either way, she's made well, has a good paint job on her face, her hair looks natural, cute clothes, and she's the same size and a great companion doll for the other Chelsea sized dolls and sets, so I definitely recommend this Barbie. I also like that both of her arms are straight. That can be hard to find in the Chelsea dolls. Look at my comparison pics to see the expected size if you're new to these smaller sized dolls. Chelsea is considered the youngest little sister to Barbie. There are 4 total Baribie sisters; Barbie, who is the oldest, Skipper, the 2nd oldest/tallest, then Stacie's next, and finally, little Chelsea. With my niece only being 2 1/2, this Chelsea sized doll is the perfect size for her little hands, and would be a great first doll for those who are just getting big enough to play with Barbies, and of course a great addition for any Barbie set out there.

Wonderful to have a Barbie that reflects my daughter
So glad to see a little black doll. My daughter loves that she looks like her! There was only one black Barbie and one Polynesian doll when I was little.
