This was a birthday gift for my 5 year old niece. She had a skate party and this Barbie was the perfect choice! It’s beautiful and chosen for ideal situation! She loves it!
I bought this Barbie and a few others for my kids so they could have a taste of my childhood toys. I noticed their Barbies were totally different than I grew up with. The hair wasn't as fun, the eye shadow was plain, and none of them came with jewellery anymore. Compared to the ones I had as a kid I thought they were awful! I was so excited when I opened my package and saw a real-deal 90's Barbie doll! The doll came in perfect condition with only a little box wear. I specifically purchased this doll to be played with. I was not purchasing this as a collectors item. When it came to unboxing I was surprised to see how well Barbie had held up over the years. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the inside of Barbie. This doll is one of the "flexible" ones Mattel came out with that has elastics wired through the inside body so the doll can move in ways a normal Barbie cannot. After so many years these elastics have corroded and not long after Barbie was unboxed her lower arm snapped off followed by a leg! Ooops! Of course I don't blame the kids, the doll, or the seller. Truth is things break down over time. I'm still giving the doll 5 stars because she is just as fabulous as the day she was manufactured. All of her clothing and accessories are in perfect working order as well.

Not the best
Not the best vintage Barbie. She is flat-footed, with really big feet, so next to impossible to find any shoes for her. The plastic her body is made of is hard and unpleasant to touch. Ah, and her right arm gets "amputated".
