I was very disappointed with my purchase. The website said the item Was originally over $50. Reduced to $30. When I received it I was surprised at how cheap it appeared. The actually package had a $10.00 sticker on it. I have not purchased anything since.
I absolutely loved this set when it came in! Barbie can actually point and flex her feet! She also can bend her knees and arms so that it is easier to prop her into ballet poses. Kelly is adorable too and they each come with a shear ballet class skirt. Overall, I am so glad I ordered this gift set:)
This seems like a fake. The hair looks like it was cut, and the braid fell apart as soon as my daughter took it out of the box. Additionally, when I contacted Mattel, they stated that it wasn't a genuine Barbie because there is no serial number on the back.
I am an adult Barbie collector and a lover of ballet. When I saw this on amazon, I decieded to purchase it. One of the reasons this Barbie gift set appealed to me was that it was from the 90s. I was a child in the 90s and it was nice to see a doll that resembled the ones I remeber playing with as a girl. This doll also has bendible knees and elbows. She is made so her feet actually point. Moreover, this set also includes Kelly. When I heard the news that Kelly has been replaced with a new character called Chelsea, I decied to try to collect Kelly dolls while they are still available. I have various ballerina Barbies ranging from 1990s-2011. The dolls in this set are quite lovely. I recomend it for anyone who loves Barbie and ballet.

Worth it.
Expensive but worth it. Super fancy. My four year old loves it.
