Yea! Another Enchantimals release! I have every Enchantimals doll and playset, including the normal size, the Huggables size, and the mini bug-size. I’m always excited to see each new release, and I pre-order them because most of them sell out on release day and aren’t available again for a long time. Now, on to the review of the little piggie bath set.The TubThe tub is molded with a wood grain design inside and out; the bottom of the inside has the wood grain, but the outer bottom doesn’t. The tub also has molded-on sprayer and flowers. The inside of the tub has a peg, but there’s nothing in this set that makes sense to put on that peg. The animals don’t have holes for the peg, but pets of some other Enchantimals sets do have holes for pegs, so those could fit. The pig girl’s shoes do have a hole that will fit the peg, but it’s tight and hard to get on and off, and why would she take a shower with her shoes on, anyway? The tub also has separate pieces attached; the sides have two blue plastic strips with a bubble-mold design, and the end of the tub has a tall pipe and shower head with a flower and vine design. The showerhead is tall enough for the pig girl to stand under it.The Tiny AccessoriesThe tiny accessories consist of a non-functional plastic brush with handle, a bar of soap with handle, a sponge with handle, a bubble bath bottle with handle, a soap/lotion bottle with handle, and a rubber ducky (without a handle ). There’s also a super-tiny bit of fabric printed with a design of pink squares. The final tiny accessory is a tiny shell-shaped sponge on a plastic coral-shaped stick; the shell and coral shapes are due to the accessory being the same one that came with the ocean dolls. The shell/coral accessory is meant to be dipped into cold or hot water to put on the smaller pig pet (or the hair of the ocean-theme dolls) to change the color. The color change is an effect of temperature. The pig has “mud” spots on it that disappear when “cleaned” by adding hot water. An easier and less messy way is to place your finger onto each spot for a few seconds, and the heat from your finger will make the spot disappear until it cools. (See video.)The PigsThe small pig is adorable. I love that it doesn’t have the hole and claw that are on the backs of most Enchantimals animals. The larger pig does have the hole and claw, a disturbing feature that I’ve written about in most of my Enchantimals reviews. It’s creepy that so many of these animals have the big holes in their backs and their skin stretched out and twisted to make the claw shape. Definitely a feature Enchantimals needs to stop. Fortunately, we already have an identical pig from the kitchen set that does not have the hole and claw. But that brings us to the question: since Mattel already had this mold of the pig without the hole and claw, why go to the expense of making a new mold to make deformed creepy pigs? (See video.)The other difference between the two pigs is that the larger pig has a bit of hair, but the small pig has only molded plastic hair. As I discussed earlier, the small pig also has the color-change feature to “clean” the spots of “mud”. Both pigs have cute little curly tails molded on.The DollAnd now for the doll. This is the third version of the pig girl. The first version came with the kitchen set, and the second was the swimsuit doll. For this review, I’ll compare the new bath version of the pig girl doll with the first version from the kitchen set. The face mold and paint are the same, except that the new doll’s eyes are a bit brighter blue. The ears are the same. The hair is the same except that the new doll comes with her hair tied into a side ponytail. The neck, shoulder, and hip articulation is the same; both have non-articulated knees. The shoulders of both have ball joints; the legs only go to the front and back. The arm positions are different in the two dolls, and the torso mold is different. The new doll has the torso mold that originated with the first version of the fox doll. As a result, the mold has a v-shape on the shirt that doesn’t match the shirt’s paint design. The painted-on swimsuit of the new doll is solid white. The front top is painted with decorations of tiny flowers and buttons. The new doll’s skirt is made of traditional Enchantimals thin fabric with a unique printed design; this time the design is a yellow and white plaid background decorated with pictures of blue bubbles and pink and red flowers. The shoes are blue with a different mold, a slip-on platform design with a molded-on plastic poof ball on the front; the first generation pig doll had pink pig-and-heart designed shoes. The skirts and shoes of the two versions of the doll don’t mix and match well, but the new doll’s shoes do match the second generation pig doll because pig doll #2 wears a swimsuit that’s the same color as doll #3’s shoes. The doll and both pig pets come with soft-plastic shower caps that are removable. In general, another good Enchantimals set. My favorite piece from this set is the little pig, the color-changing one that doesn’t have the hole on its back. I’d prefer it without the mud spots, but it’s a cute little piggie even with the mud.
I like that it has accessories with it.Bought as a gift.

Me encanto
Conforme à la description.
Parfait
