This doll is well made and looks like the character. My sister loves Esmeralda but finding merchandise of her is not easy. This doll made a great birthday gift. The clothes, hair, and eyes are just perfect.
This is actually for my daughter who had a Esmeralda doll when she was growing up and for nostalgic reasons wanted another one. It is as advertised in a attractive plastic cover and the doll is like the original with her pretty face and clothes. She may not be used as a toy like the old one but will simply be enjoyed for the wonderful reminder of The Hunchback of Notre Dame Movie and her childhood time.

I've had an Esmeralda doll since I was a little girl. I found her at Goodwill. That's how I have a lot of rarer Disney dolls in my collection. I saved my childhood dolls. As I got to my mid-20s, I started seriously collecting and brought my dolls from when I was a kid out again. Most were not complete or were in need of repair. Esmeralda was not complete. It was entirely worth it to buy a complete Esmeralda for $20 to also have her be brand new quality. I did this with several others I'd never had the outfits to because the outfits off Ebay were the same as buying a whole other doll. Now I can make another movie outfit for my childhood one. Win win.
